Simpleology Blogging Techniques - Checking it Out

I'm evaluating a multi-media course on blogging from the folks at Simpleology. For a while, they're letting you snag it for free if you post about it on your blog.

It covers:

  • The best blogging techniques.
  • How to get traffic to your blog.
  • How to turn your blog into money.

I'll let you know what I think once I've had a chance to check it out. Meanwhile, go grab yours while it's still free.

Pennsylvania Awaits...

I'm wondering how the Democratic Primary in Pennsylvania is going to play out on Tuesday. With the way Barak Obama & Hilary Clinton are going after each other, any good will they may have generated in the early part of the campaign among independents and disillusioned Republicans is slipping away fast. If they don't watch themselves and tone down the attacks against each other soon, the uniting behind one candidate at the Democratic convention may be harder to pull off than they think. Are we looking at a possible...President McCain?

The Mind Behind the Throne is Gone...

Well, today we heard that Karl Rove, who most folks consider to be the mastermind behind the Bush administration, is resigning. He said he had to stsart thinking about the next chapter of his family's life. One wonders what will happen for the next 18 months of the Bush/Chaney reign. One can only hope that he's true to his word and does not try to help orchestrate the next Republican nominee's run at the presidency.

Think about it...

Feeling Good!

My team, the Oakland Raiders, WON!!! Don't ask me how it happened, except that our defense is excellent [don't start on the offense, which is offensive!] and Big Ben shouldn't have been playing yesterday. But we'll take a win anyway we can get it these days.

Hey, it's Thursday night & my other half & I did something revolutionary last night. Don't get the wrong idea, it's not that. It's something most people don't do...

...We voted.

It was our first time doing the absentee voter thing. We just got our ballot yesterday, then spent last night talking about the candidates & propositions up for votes next month. The awesome thing was that we got to do it in the privacy of our home, not worrying about crowds at the polling booth, and no one has to know how we voted. What do you think would happen if even HALF the people eligible to vote actually took the time to do it, instead of griping when things don't go their way? Think about it......
